poem

 Key Card Entry

At the end of the long hallway

There is a door that opens

With key card entry only

The lanyard around my neck

Jangles a ring of skeleton keys

That have never been used before

There is a door somewhere

Else with an old fashioned lock.

Only I can open it.

Meet me in the stairwell

Of this post industrial labyrinth.

Without you, I’ll never find it
