poem

 Haunted Mansions

Nothing can touch you here.

You aren’t safe

But no harm will befall you.

Here is where it all happens

Before the daffodils bloom.

It isn't quite home

But the same feeling.

The place you came from

But can’t recognize anymore.

Everything seems brand new.

Close your eyes and somehow

You can stagger from room to room

Without bumping into a single wall.

That’s how we will find each other

In this haunted mansion

Of cobwebs and dusty sofas,

Trap doors and broken glass.

We’re all here

Waiting
